For those that missed it, on the Kaintuckeean:
- The first oil well in Kentucky was drilled by accident in 1818.
- Answering the previous week’s #TBT with the iconic White Hall dormitory at the University of Kentucky.
- Rachel Alexander joins the Kaintuckeean as a contributor with some inspiration for the mid-century People’s Bank branch on South Broadway.
- On Thursday, we included old and new photos and a little history of the landmark Skuller’s Clock which was reinstalled this week and relit on Friday.
- The I-75 Connector between Nicholasville and Madison County has some strong opposition. The Off the Road event at the Lyric Theatre featured some incredible Kentucky artists.
And, as always, some news from elsewhere.
